ms09.dll virus WINWORD caused a stack fault in module mso9.dll explained

What is mso9.dll?
unknown to me, part of microsoft office.

Is ms09.dll errors bad?

Yes there are multiple reports of virus's and Trojans hidden inside or effecting ms09.dll.

You should immediately install the latest version of whichever commercial anti virus software of your choice if you occur this error.

Here is a link to a discussion on nocrash.com I found searching on google.

kernel32 dll virus: is kernel32.dll a virus?

the kernel32.dll is not normally a virus.

This is a file that is part of windows dedicated to handling memory management.

If your kernel32.dll is infected with a virus a good sign is getting a error message or internal page fault (ipf).

Some other things that could cause this that are not virus's:
  • bad swap file
  • damaged registry
  • even damaged .log files
  • corrupt kernel32.dll
